In the typical question, the teacher replied,

Things I explain, I play things are works that have existed for about seventy years. There is no time. Some French critics very clever. One critic commented that all the things I've been spending all the reproductions that I have published (some of which were made for forty or fifty years), could have been made today!

No dates in my career. I have several disciplines in my hands . The picture was as incidental as it was painting or writing, or sculpture, or just chat.

In 1963 I wrote a book entitled "Self-Portrait" at the behest of a publisher in New York who wanted a book on the decade 1920-1930.

I said, "Well, I started much earlier and end much later thereof. I'm still here as you see, so you can actually set a time. Should start at the very beginning and get to the very end.
